Denver Engagement Photographer
To help you decide which engagement photography location is right for you, start with asking yourself the following questions:
1) Do we spend more time in a city or natural setting?
2) Would I like something more modern, artistic or earthy?
3) Are there any places in the area that are very “us?”
4) What are we wearing for the engagement photos? What setting does that fit in?
Colorado contains some of the best outdoor Photography Venues for all tastes and styles. Each location gives a different feel, allowing you to choose one to fit your personality. We see the locations in three main categories.
Urban settings are appealing to those who are looking for color, modernity, architecture or a vintage feel.
An earthy location is a good fit for the couple who is drawn toward trees, mountains, rivers, farmland or grassy scenes.
Personality centered Maybe it’s the coffee shop where you first met, you sitting in your backyard or the park that you got engaged at. This approach towards location offers and opportunity to create storytelling at it’s best.
Denver’s Best engagement photography locations for Engagement Sessions
As Denver engagement photographer for nearly ten years, we’ve been to plenty of locations and have compiled a list to help you decide which spot best tells your story.
Though we have a large list of places for your engagement session in Denver below, we ironically recommend not fretting too much about the location. Ultimately, the images are about you and your relationship, not the background. The setting will not make or break your photographs. We can get great photos of you anywhere.
YOUR FAVORITE THINGS

We love it when couples make their engagement session unique and special to them by doing a few of their favorite things. Do an activity you both enjoy, wear your favorite team’s jersey, visit an ice cream shop – these are just a few examples of things you can do to make your engagement session special, playful and meaningful. Consider it a documented date. As a Denver engagement photographer, I’ve been to many unique locations but there is nothing quite as special as you and your story.
